A standard consultation lasts around 30 minutes. If a detailed dermoscopy or mole mapping is needed, a longer slot is scheduled from the start.
Come without make-up and without nail polish if the problem involves the face or the nails. Bring the treatments you are currently using and, if you have them, previous test or biopsy results.
At least once a year — and every 6 months if you have more than 40 naevi, a family history of melanoma, or a fair phototype. Any mole that changes shape, colour or size should be seen as soon as possible.
Yes. Paediatric dermatology is one of the practice's areas, and the examination is adapted to the child's age, from infants to teenagers.
Histopathology generally takes between 7 and 14 working days. The result is discussed together at a scheduled follow-up.
